Massimo holds a MSc in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. He began his career in radioactive waste management at SOGIN (Rome) and the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (Paris), then worked at Framatome (Paris) on PWR core design and safety studies. He is currently the Head of the LFR Core Design unit at newcleo. A founding member of the association, he served as its first president and was reappointed for a second and third term following the subsequent General Assemblies.
Davide is a Technical Lead within the Fuel Cycle Expertise Unit of the Nuclear Fuel Division (DCN). Prior to joining DCN, he worked at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), where he coordinated and managed international activities and projects related to fuel materials and structural materials. He also worked in EDF R&D within the Materials and Component Mechanics Department. An Italian national, Davide holds a PhD in nuclear materials modelling and a degree in theoretical physics from ENS Lyon. He is a founding member of the association.
Elena holds a MSc in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. She began her career in Nuclear Safety and Decomissioning & Waste Management (D&WM) at Ansaldo Nucleare (Italy), then worked at Rolls-Royce (UK) on several Safety and D&WM projects. In 2017, Elena joined Nuvia (France): she is currently the Director of Complex Tenders for the Group. She joined the SPIN Board in 2026.
Alberto holds a MSc in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and a PhD from Chalmers University of Technology. He is currently employed as Expert Research Engineer at CEA-Saclay (French Atomic Energy Commission). His main interests are: nuclear thermal-hydraulics, fluid mechanics, data analysis, IA and uncertainty quantification. He is co-founder of SPIN.
Claudia holds a MSc in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a PhD from the Ohio State University affiliated with Électricité de France (EDF), focused on dynamic probabilistic risk assessment of nuclear power plants. Since 2019, she has been working as a research engineer at EDF R&D, focusing on probabilistic risk analysis. She is co-founder of SPIN.

Piergiorgio has a MSc in nuclear engeneering from politecnico di Milano. Since 2022 He has worked as a neutronics engineer in Edvance, for projects like HPC and EPR1200. He joined the SPIN board association in 2026.
Emanuele holds a MSc in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (1999) and a PhD in plasma physics (laser fusion) from École Polytechnique (2003). He has been working at Framatome for 23 years, holding various positions in production and R&D, mainly in Core Design and Transient Analysis department and in Codes & Methods department. He has been R&D domain leader in Core Physics and Project Manager of the ODYSSEE project (EDF and Framatome nuclear simulation platform). He is currently General Manager of Framatome Italy, a new branch opened end of 2024 in Milan and Turin. He is Framatome Fellow Expert in Core Physics, member of the SFEN and the AIN. He is a co-founder of the SPIN.
Antonio holds an MSc in Nuclear Engineering (5-year course) from the University of Pisa and a PhD in Thermal Heat Transfer from Brunel University - West London. He began his career at EDF-SEPTEN (Lyon), focusing on severe accident management for nuclear power plants. After several coordination and project roles for the UK HPC power plant, he became Project Manager for EDF-R&D activities related to Generation IV reactors and multi-recycling. More recently, he joined the EDF Design and Technology Branch to work on the new Generation IV Sodium Fast Reactors project. He is a co-founder of the SPIN.
Lucia holds a Msc in Nuclear Engineering from the university of Pisa and a PhD from the Pierre and Marie Curie University on fluid structure interaction for hexagonal assemblies and very narrow gaps. She has been a researcher in thermal hydraulics and uncertainty quantification at CEA-Saclay since 2015. She is a cofounder of the SPIN.
Marco holds a MSc in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Delft University of Technology. After a post-doctoral period at the French Atomic Energy Commission, he joins EDF R&D in 2022, where he is currently Project Manager of the activites related to the development and validation of the advanced neutronics schemes in EDF's new neutronics code platform ODYSSEE. He is co-founder of SPIN.
Andrea holds a MSc and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy). He joined Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA, France) in 2008, where is currently research director in the domain of numerical simulation for reactor physics. He is co-founder of SPIN.
